The general rule-of-thumb for flush flowrates is 1 gpm of flush per inch of pump shaft or seal size (whichever is larger). E.g. a 2.000″ pump shaft will require 2 gpm of seal flush. This rule-of-thumb applies to most wet seals and flush plans.
